About Great Himalaya Trail 32 Days (First step)

Himalayan Ecological Trekking offers 1st shift Kanchenjung Makalu 32 day long trek starting from the east of Nepal. The trail is the first phase of the Great Himalaya Trail of Nepal. The trekking through this route is comparatively hard therefore physical fitness as well as mental wellbeing is very necessary. The 1st Shift Kanchenjunga Makalu Trek officially commences with a day tour of Kathmandu valley where you get a guided city tour of UNESCO listed world heritage sites like Swayambhu, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swayambhutnath and Boudhanath. These places will give a closer view of the daily life of Nepalese living in the city and the history of Nepal and at the same time, you will get to explore the rich culture of Nepal.  The trekking journey is full of ups and down with an amazing view of mountains in the backdrop. The main highlight of this shift is Mt Kanchenjunga which is the third highest mountain in the world and Mt. Makalu which is the fifth highest mountain in the world. This 1st of Great Himalaya Trail is really fascinating as you will make your way through two great mountains which belong in the top 5 highest mountains in the world.
