Day 1 Pick up from airport transfer to the Hotel
Day 2 Sightseeing in UNESCO world sites in Kathmandu valley
Day 3 Flight to Bhadrapur and drive to Ilam
After breakfast drive to Domestic airport flight to Bhadrapur flight time will be 40 mi, it is close to India Border, get the vehicle to drive to Ilam, Ilam is the famous place in Nepal about tea farm. On the way will stop to the Kanyam hillside like viewpoint with tea farm drive through the tea farm stay overnight guest house. 4-hour drive.
Day 4 Drive to Taplejung
After breakfast drive to Taplejung via Phikal, Gopetar, Kabely, and cross the Kabeli Khola while driving we will able to see the Kumbhakarna range stay in the guest house.
Day 5 Trek to Mitlung
After breakfast starts to trek for Mitlung, we will walk through the small village with an agriculture area. This area is able to see cardamom form on the way, after four hours will have a hot lunch at Handewa. After lunch we will three more walkings to Mitlung. Mitlung is Limbu and Rai people leave here. Overnight guest house.
Day 6 Trek to Chirwa
The trails go along the Tamur river Sinwa in this area more landside part lots of big rock bolder. This part has ethnic group people, they can everything plant like maize, millet, rice, all kind of vegetables, Chirwa is a nice village with Bhattis and local shops. We will have lunch Sinwa or Tawa walking hour will be 6 to 7 this area has most Rai and Limbu culture.
Day 7 Trek to Sakathum
Today we will walk through more of settlements like Tapethok, Lelep, more small houses on the way. Follow the Tamur Khola after Lelep crosses the Tamur Khola follows the Ghunsa Khola. The Lelep is the Headquarter of the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area Project will have lunch here and enter our permit. After lunch, we are heading to Sakathum, Walking hours 5 to 6.
Day 8 Trek to Amjilosa
After breakfast heading to Amjilosa follow the Ghunsa Khola. Today we will get one really nice house tropical Nepali style base of Ghayabari. Ghayabari is the classical route but now make the short cut way, we will not get any lunch place on the way should be lunch and camp at Amjilosa. From today we will able to see Tibetan settlement, Walking hours 4 to 5.
Day 9 Trek to Gyabla
We are walking to Gyabla to follow the edge of the Ghunsa Khola through the Jungle. This area Jungle has bamboo, rhododendron, and oaks with many bushes. We are going be closer to the mountain able to see some part Kanchenjunga range. When you are close to the Gyabla have to climb up steeply. Gyabla itself is a very nice village where has to gust house there is only two guest house. When we will climb 200 meters up from Gyabla able to see a very nice view and big settlement. Walking hour 4 to 4 ½.
Day 10 Trek to Ghunsa
Compare to yesterday today we have to walk long. We will continue along the Ghunsa Khola riverbank with the jungle part. After four and a half hours walking will get the Phole village. It is the first Tibetan refugee settlement after Walunchung Gola. We will have lunch here very good local Dhal Bhat. We can get here very old statues Thankas and wooden Gomba many Chorten Tibetan prayer flags. After lunch walk to them along the jungle between there has one memory which is Heli crash Sept 23/ 2006. When we cross the Ghunsa Khola will be a big settlement with a nice guest house. We should present here our permit. Walking hours 6 to 7.
Day 11 Acclimatize day
This day we prepare our body for the increase in altitude. We are hiking to 4 to 5 hours for acclimatizing we will able to see a nice view with a big meadow. We will take a packed lunch evening visit around the village area. We can visit the gumba and local people's activities.
Day 12 Trek to Khambachen
we are already closer by the mountain, when we are heading to trek trails makes the gradual climb up with the Juniper jungle area. Today we will walk around 5 hours we don’t have hot lunch on the way but so much beautiful landscape with Mountain View. When reaching the Khambachen it will be a panoramic view for Chulima Himal range north side and west side Mera peak Januu Himal, Ghabur peak, Nyukla Lachung, Chang Himal with many more. Khambachen village is a nice wide valley with Tibetan Settlement with Sherpa people. Overnight guest house.
Day 13 Trek to Lonak
After breakfast starts to trek with a mountain view as a mirror. We should walk slowly to the up able to see yak and another wild animal all yak grassing area with some small busses after Rantang we will walk moraine part of Kanchenjungha also Lhonak too. Lhonak village is wide and often dry lakebed. Here is three tea house. Overnight guest house.
Day 14 Hike to panpema (5146m)KBC back to Lonak
Early morning has breakfast and starts to walk for Kanchenjungha base camp ( Pang Pema 5146m) It will take 3 to 4 hours from here all the part moraine. Every year way will be change because of the landslide. After 30 mi going to appear in the world 3rd highest mountain Kanchenjungha and surround by many more white peaks. At Pang Pema has a lot of memories for the climbing guides.
Day 15 Trek to Ghunsa
As usual finish the morning thing and trek down to Ghunsa. It will trek a total of 8 hours will stop for tea at Khambachen then continues to the Ghunsa preparing the camping gear from tomorrow will have own cook bake food and tent too.
Day 16 Trek to Nango La camp
From Ghunsa heading to Phale Gaun and trek the right side way to Namgo-la. It will follow the Namgo river to the camp side climb up gradually to the camp.
Day 17 Trek to Yagma Khola
Day 18 Trek to Olangchung Gola
