About Helambu Circuit Trek 6 days

Helambu Circuit Trek in Nepal is a low-altitude trekking trail. Our travel planners will customize it according to your needs. The journey of Helambu Circuit Trek starts with the road trip from Kathmandu to Thankune Bhanjyang. Trekkers will walk through places like Kutumsang, Thadepati, Melamchi Gau, Tarkeghyang, and Timber. Each place within the trekking trail has different attractions. However, most of the villages are of Lama Communities. 

The trail is within the Langtang National Park. Therefore, there is a high chance of encountering some wild animals, birds, and insects. The Manes, Chhortens, and Monasteries are throughout the trail. Moreover, the trail is within a rural setting. It showcases the true authentic rural society of Nepal. Trekkers will be able to witness the daily lifestyle of the people as well. You can choose to stay in the homestay of the locals. If you do so the actual rural Nepalese lifestyle can be experienced. However, there are numerous teahouses and lodges built in the area.

Day 1: Pick up from airport transfer to the Hotel

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our team will be there to greet you and transfer you to your hotel. If time permits, you can explore the nearby areas and get a taste of the local culture.

After breakfast, we'll start our day by exploring the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu Valley. We'll visit Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, which offers panoramic views of the city. We'll also visit Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, and Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world.

After breakfast, we'll drive to Sundarijal, which is about an hour's drive from Kathmandu. From there, we'll start our trek to Chisapani. The trail takes us through Shivapuri National Park, where we'll get a chance to see various species of flora and fauna. We'll pass through several small villages and enjoy stunning views of the Himalayas.

Today, we'll trek to Kutumsang, a beautiful village that is surrounded by lush forests and stunning mountain ranges. We'll pass through several small villages and enjoy the local hospitality. Along the way, we'll also get a chance to see various species of birds and animals.

After breakfast, we'll trek to Thadepati, which is situated at an altitude of 3,650 meters. The trail takes us through dense forests of rhododendrons and oak trees. We'll also pass through several small streams and waterfalls. Once we reach Thadepati, we'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Himalayas.

Today, we'll trek to Melamchi Gau, a picturesque village that offers a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of the Nepalese people. Along the way, we'll pass through several small villages and enjoy stunning views of the Himalayas. We'll also get a chance to interact with the locals and learn about their way of life.
