About Kori Hill Trek - 10 days

A perfect package for beginners who are a seeker of breathtaking views of the mountains and spectacular landscapes. Kori Hill Trek with Himalayan Ecological Trekking takes offers a great escape to isolation where mother nature is only your companion. This is a moderate trek with a limited number of homestays but a bed to rest at the end of the day will still be available. The scenery for photography is flowing with superbness. Likewise, the real essence of trekking in Nepal can be experienced in this journey.

The journey of Kori Hill Trek begins as you enter the lively village of Sikles. Sikles is a tiny but densely populated village of diverse ethnic groups. The inhabitants of the village are Gurung, From Sikles village, you will trek for a few days to explore the awesome Kapuche Lake. The Lake is the lowest glacier lake, set in a stunning location. After exploring the peaceful and tranquil Kapuche Lake, we head to Kori Danda. Danda in English is Hill and Kori Danda is located at the height of 3800m above sea level.

Kori Danda is the centre point if you look from the east to west direction. Kori Danda, unlike many hills of Nepal, is not a big mountain but a perfect place to observe the finest scenery of Mother Nature. The hill is finely carpeted by meadows and different sorts of flowers add more beauty to the hill. If you wake up early in the morning, then you will witness the smoky clouds in front of you offering you a sense of being in the clouds. Also, do not forget the golden sunrise and sunset view you will get to witness while here is another delight of the trek.

Nyamla Pass which leads to Manang- one of the famous trekking destinations in Nepal is a few minutes walk away from Kori Hill. After enjoying the serenity of Kori Hill, we descend to Tangting. On the way, we pass by Kola and Sota. As per the locals, it is believed that Sota is the origin of the Gurung ethnic group. It is where the birth of Gurung ethnicity was born and spread across the country. If you spend more time looking around the place, you will still find the remains of Historical palaces that stood centuries ago. The trail from Sota gradually descends to Tangting which is the last point of the trek.

The Kori Hill Trek is an amazing short trek that takes you to an undiscovered trek route in the Annapurna region. The solitude and stunning scenery are what you will get to appreciate on this journey. Besides, with a team of Himalayan Ecological Trekking, you are in the hands of experts who are familiar with this less travelled trek route. The journey is remote but the experience gained and memories made here shall last for a lifetime. Join us on this beautiful and fulfilling trek!
