About Kori Hill Trek - 10 days

Embark on a remarkable journey that promises awe-inspiring mountain views and captivating landscapes—the Kori Hill Trek, brought to you by Himalayan Ecological Trekking. This extraordinary package is tailor-made for beginners, offering an escape to solitude where Mother Nature becomes your sole companion. It is a moderate trek, featuring a limited number of homestays, ensuring a comfortable bed at the end of each day. The scenic beauty that unfolds before your lens is nothing short of breathtaking, making it a photographer's paradise. Moreover, this trek allows you to truly experience the essence of trekking in Nepal.

The adventure begins as you step foot into the vibrant village of Sikles, a small yet densely populated settlement inhabited by diverse ethnic groups, primarily Gurungs. From Sikles, the journey takes you on a multi-day trek to discover the mesmerizing Kapuche Lake—a pristine glacier lake nestled in a stunning location. After immersing yourself in the serene tranquility of Kapuche Lake, your path leads to the crown jewel, Kori Danda. Situated at an altitude of 3800m, Kori Danda offers unparalleled panoramic views of the surrounding natural wonders. Unlike towering mountains, Kori Danda is a picturesque hill adorned with lush meadows and a vibrant assortment of flowers. Waking up early rewards you with the ethereal sight of misty clouds engulfing the landscape, creating a surreal experience. And let's not forget the magical display of golden-hued sunrises and sunsets that grace this enchanting place.

A short stroll from Kori Hill brings you to Nyamla Pass, a gateway to Manang, a renowned trekking destination in Nepal. After basking in the serenity of Kori Hill, the descent begins towards Tangting, passing through the fascinating villages of Kola and Sota. Legends claim that Sota is the birthplace and epicenter of the Gurung ethnic group, and remnants of historical palaces that stood centuries ago still dot the landscape. The trail gradually descends until you reach Tangting, the final destination of this remarkable journey.

The Kori Hill Trek is an extraordinary and lesser-known trekking route in the Annapurna region. It offers a unique opportunity to embrace solitude while reveling in the splendor of the surrounding scenery. With Himalayan Ecological Trekking as your trusted guide, you can rest assured that you are in the hands of seasoned experts who are well-acquainted with this less-traveled path. While the journey may be remote, the experiences gained and memories forged will undoubtedly last a lifetime. Join us on this beautiful and fulfilling trek, where nature's wonders await your discovery.
