About Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour- 1 Day

Mount Everest is everyone’s dream. Thousands of climbers climb it every year and thousands more trek up to its base camp. However, there are many others who couldn’t do both. It is due to time constraints or due to physical demands. So, what is an alternative? Everest Helicopter Tour is the best alternative. One can enjoy the majestic Mount Everest region without longer holidays and physical strength.

The journey of the Everest Helicopter Tour is designed to cater to people willing to go to Mt. Everest in a day. It is probably the best and most luxurious way to explore the Khumbu region of Nepal. The itinerary of the Everest Heli Tour is simple and flexible. You can start the tour either from Lukla or from Kathmandu. The choice is yours.

The chopper takes travellers to Everest View Hotel. They enjoy the breathtaking scenery of mountains and landscape with a sip of coffee. Chopper then takes trekkers to Kalapathar (5545 m). Normally helicopter is not allowed to land at Everest Base Camp. At the top of Kalapathar, the chopper stops for half an hour only. The risk of altitude sickness is very high. Travellers ascend directly to such a height. Therefore, travellers need to explore the area quickly.

The sceneries of mountains and Khumbu terrain look spectacular from the chopper. Moreover, it is a bird's eye view of such a fantastic region. During the trip, travellers get to see more than 2 dozen mountains. It is a sporadic trip. In just about two days, you can be at the foothill of the world’s tallest mountain Mt. Everest. Nowadays, Everest Helicopter Tour is getting lots of travellers as it saves time.

However, the cost is slightly higher. A chopper accommodates a maximum of five people on board.
